Chapter 10 is all I gotta say。 The girls that get it get it, and the girls that don’t, don’t。

And how did he not know she was friends with Quinn, his best friend’s partner, who had been together for awhile? Surely Quinn would have mentioned her at sometime before。 Idk I just had a hard time buying into the setup。 I also didn’t love how Zoë’s rape was handled and discussed。 I knew what would happen to her after reading the prologue, but I just feel like it was kind of brushed over。 Obviously and understandably, it was a big deal and affected several aspects of her life。 She ghosted Wes and kept up the ghosting behavior with other relationships, as Quinn hinted。 I guess I was expecting a little more conversation about it。 。。。more
nadia,
I loved Wes and Zoë’s relationship; you could tell that they were so close when they were younger and that even eight years apart couldn’t separate them。 They were so perfect for each other。 This was so hot。 Smoking。 279 million on the Scoville scale。 The things I’d do for Wes to call me little doe。 Hot damn。 I loved that Zoë had a Moroccan background and that there was an inclusion of Arabic in her lines; it’s not common in books and it was so validating to see。

“I have you right where I want you, don’t I, Little Doe?”
Syd,
Personally I couldn't get into the story all that much, so it unfortunately ended up being a DNF。 The spicy scenes were obviously great-- as they always are with Isaly。 But I found myself uninterested in the little plot that was there and more intrested in Owen's hinted upcoming story and Jack & Quinn's sporadic "screen" time。 That said, I'll probably give the untitled sequel a shot still!! UHHHHHHHHHHM how does Dana Islay squeeze so much heart and smut into so few pages?!?! I loooooved Wes in Jack/Quin's story and I was excited to read about him (and read more descriptions of his bodyyyyyy!!! He is fierce and sweet。 I really like his character。 Zoë was not my favorite lady。。。。 Until she got control in the bedroom! (Mad respect for that, girl) This story is SPICY but so very sweet as well。 As always with graphic books like these。。。。 Check the triggers before reading!!! I Need More Love Wes and Zoe’s story their passion and steam 。 Great hearing from Jack & Quin again and I can’t wait for Owen’s book。
Terri,
Can’t get enough of Zoe and WesZoe and Wes are it right from the first chapter。 This books is hot and heavy from the jump。 With just enough angst and trouble to give it a great storyline。 It is another Dana Isaly home-run。 Can not wait to read the next one!
Somelikeithardback,
2。5/5 and only for the bit where Zoe is ‘in charge’。 I just wasn’t invested in them as a couple。 He’s a bounty hunter but never really thought to go look for her? Is salty because she never came back after 5 texts? I love friends-to-lovers, it’s one of my ultimate favourite tropes, but I need more than this to really get behind it。 The insta love/lust worked for Jack and Quin because they were literal strangers but for me, it was too quick and ‘rushed’ in this one。 I 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬 it’s a spicy novella an 2。5/5 and only for the bit where Zoe is ‘in charge’。 I just wasn’t invested in them as a couple。 He’s a bounty hunter but never really thought to go look for her? Another smutty novella to enjoy!! I love Dana writing and her novellas are filled with amazing smut。 Never thought that the friends to lovers would work on a novella but it did here and it was very cute。 I love her work and if you like smutty novellas, Dana is for you!!

As always - Dana。 Can。 Do。 No。 Wrong! This was *chefs kiss*。 The drama, the spice, the yearning Zoë and Wes had for one another - I couldn’t get enough。 I wish there was a billion more pages of them。 Can’t wait to read about Owen next。
pagesofjewels,
The characters, the sexiness, the possessiveness。 Just as the first book, Dana is a QUEEN for these short novella’s that make you feel like you read a 300 page book with the way she fits that many emotions into it。 Wes had a perspective like no other。 I loved his and Zoë’s immediate banter & connection again after 8 years。 And a bunch of tattoo’s & piercing’s?!? YES PLEASE。 I Cannot wait for Owen’s book

CW: rapeThis was satisfying, but not quite as satisfying as Games We Play。 Something was missing, and honestly I cannot figure out what it is。 Short, spicy, kinky, everything I could want from a novella。 There was just something I can't put my finger on。 If I figure it out, I'll come back and edit this。 CW: rapeThis was satisfying, but not quite as satisfying as Games We Play。 Something was missing, and honestly I cannot figure out what it is。 Short, spicy, kinky, everything I could want from a novella。 There was just something I can't put my finger on。 If I figure it out, I'll come back and edit this。 。。。more
Hollie,
This book was top level steam。 What happens when friends who haven’t seen each other in years reconnect at a wedding? Well in Dana Isaly’s world they bang it out。 🥵 Dana has managed to pack so much drama and spicy times into this novella。 I don’t know how she does it。
